Social media these days is just filled with what many people call, Rich Fitness. You know what I’m talking about, thousands of workout outfits easily costing several hundred dollars, brand new running shoes that have obviously never touched the ground, electronic gadgets, and a gorgeous model with her hair and makeup perfectly done, who clearly hasn’t broken a sweat in that workout gear she’s posing in!

While these make for beautiful pictures, and great inspiration, it can be a real let down when you put on your basketball shorts and a loose t-shirt. Your dirty runners (because they actually go outside and get used) and your hair up in a tight pony (because working out with your hair down makes you want to murder someone). You look in the mirror, and what you see doesn’t resemble a gorgeous model, but instead, a real person, who is about to actually work out.
You don’t need all the fancy expensive gear to work out. Seriously, you can work out with what you have at home!
What to Wear
If you have workout gear to wear already, great! If not, any comfortable clothing will do! T-shirts, singlets, shorts, sweatpants, whatever you have that’s comfortable and you can move in!

If you don’t have a sports bra, and need more support before you start jumping around, try wearing two bras. It’s not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it’ll help keep those puppies in place until you can get yourself a cheap shorts bra.
What to Use
My best tip here is to use your own body! Run, walk, do push ups, sit ups, lunges, squats, climb stairs, do jumping jacks, the list is endless!
If you can’t get your hands on a yoga mat, just use a towel (or two for extra padding).
If you’re looking for some weights, try using cans of food. For something heavier, use different size soft drink bottles filled with water.

What to Do
Start a 30 day challenge. Just search google for 30 day fitness challenges, there are heaps out there for squats, running, plank, wall sit, push ups, pretty much everything you can think of!
Search Youtube for workout videos. Zumba, yoga, Pilates.
Look on Pinterest for workout plans. Honestly, thousands.

So, now that you know, money is not an excuse not to workout! Get started!!
