12 Week Weight Loss Challenge!

The New Year is almost here, and what better way to start it off than with a New and Confident You!

I’ve managed to convince some girlfriends to join me in a 12 Week Weight Loss Challenge, and as I started planning out the rules, and making motivational tools for us to use, I thought it would be a shame to keep it among us, so I’m opening up the Challenge to anyone who wants to get involved! Feel free to invite your own friends to join in as well! I’ll be creating a private Facebook Group which challenge members will be added to upon joining that you can go to for support and inspiration. Also upon joining, you will be sent some motivational tools that I’ve been developing, and any more that I make during the challenge!


The Challenge will start on Monday 24 October 2016, and run for 12 weeks, until 14 January 2017. Deadline to join will be 12pm Sunday 23 October 2016 AEST (Queensland Time) so that I can send you everything you need before the challenge starts.

 

So here’s the rules:

  1. You can follow whatever nutrition and fitness plan you like, but stay healthy. Please don’t starve yourself, it is unhealthy for women to eat anything less than 1200 calories per day, and can actually hinder weight loss results.
  2. Stay friendly and supportive of other challenge members. I’m sure this doesn’t need to be a rule, let’s make this fun and exciting!
  3. Weigh-ins are every fortnight. Don’t weigh yourself in between weigh ins, this can lead to discouragement. Send your weigh-in results to me, either via Facebook or e-mail. Also take a photo of yourself for comparison. You don’t have to send this to me if you’re uncomfortable.
  4. Winners are determined by the percentage of Body Fat % lost. I’ll be using an online calculator to calculate your Body Fat % based on your measurements.
  5. Fortnightly winners will be posted here on my blog, with links shared on Facebook, and sent to your e-mail. An overall winner will be revealed at the end of the challenge.
  6. None of your details will be shared without your consent. If you would like any of your results or photos shared here, please send them to me, and I’d be happy to share!
  7. You don’t have to pay anything! I’m not trying to make money off this challenge, I’m just trying to build a support system for anyone trying to lose weight (including myself) to help us all! That’s right, you get a support system, motivational tools, and your progress tracked and body fat % all calculated for FREE!
  8. If you decide that the challenge is not for you, you can leave at any time. Please just send me a message so I can remove you from the e-mail list.
