I don’t think I’ve ever posted just a generic weight loss update on here, so for those of you that are interested, here it is.
I started my weight loss journey at 85kg four years ago. I’m currently at 70kg. That’s right, it took me 4 years to lose 15kg. That’s a little under 1 pound per week.
Now let me clarify something, this progress wasn’t in a straight line down. In fact, here’s my progress charted according to my My Fitness Pal tracking over the last 4 years.
As you can see, I’ve had a lot of ups and downs. I spent a lot of time learning how to lose weight, and then even more learning how to lose it effectively and sustainably.
What’s the most important thing that I learned? What you eat is important, that’s what’s going to make or break you. It doesn’t matter how much you exercise, if you’re not eating properly, you’re not going to be successful in losing weight. Trust me, I tried.
Following on with my results, I started using Herbalife back Jun 2017. Below is my weight loss since then.
As you can see, I’ve still struggled to stay on track 100% of the time, but even with my slip ups, my progress since I’ve been on Herbalife had been much more efficient.
As part of my weigh ins with my Herbalife Coach, a number of other measurements are taken, including internal percentages, and external physical measurements. The graphs below will show my progress, along with trendlines.
So here you can see that my muscle % has been increasing, my water % has been increasing, and my fat % has been decreasing, all the desired results!
And here we can see that all of my physical measurements have been decreasing, also awesome!
It’s really interesting for me to see graphically how my progress is going, and I highly recommend tracking multiple measurements for yourself so you can do the same. It reinforces how far I’ve come from the beginning of my journey, and helps me stay on track!
Thanks so much for the article post. Thanks Again. Cool.
