Diary: Changing Things Up

It’s been about a month and my weight hasn’t changed. This isn’t all bad though, I was slacking pretty bad. Extra cheat meals, and little exercise. Really, I’m lucky that my weight hasn’t changed.

But after a few weeks of coasting and eating comfortably, it’s time to kick back into gear. I’ve had a good look at what I’ve been doing, what I should be doing, and what is realistic.

The first thing that I’ve changed is my macros. I was eating 1500 calories, 40% carbs, 40% protein, and 20% fat. Let me tell you, getting in 40% protein is HARD. So now I’m looking at 1300 calories, 50% carbs, 30% protein, and 20% fat. It’s only been a few days, but I’ve been meeting those goals, which feels good.

My exercise has really dropped off. I walk most days, and I’ve actually started pole dancing (which is amazing!), but my workouts at the gym have been non-existent. I’m having a hard time finding the time to get there. I have done a few at home workouts though, which all made me sore, so it’s something at least. I really need to get back to the gym though.

This is what the weight loss journey is all about. Ups and downs, lost motivation, fresh motivation, strict eating, cheat meals. No one’s journey is perfect, and the only thing you can do to be successful is to keep going.

  1. Hello ,

I saw your tweets and thought I will check your website. Have to say it looks very good!
I’m also interested in this topic and have recently started my journey as young entrepreneur.

I’m also looking for the ways on how to promote my website. I have tried AdSense and Facebok Ads, however it is getting very expensive. Was thinking about starting using analytics. Do you recommend it?
Can you recommend something what works best for you?

Would appreciate, if you can have a quick look at my website and give me an advice what I should improve: http://janzac.com/
(Recently I have added a new page about FutureNet and the way how users can make money on this social networking portal.)

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Hope to hear from you soon.

    P.S.
Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?

    Regards
    Jan Zac
